The Egri Szalaparti EGYMI and Dormitory established its Erasmus working group in 2025 to foster international professional collaboration and adopt innovative, inclusive pedagogical approaches. As members of the institution’s innovation team, we are preparing our first Erasmus+ applications, recognising that international experience and the integration of European values are essential to advancing special education practice.
Our primary objective is to build partnerships with European institutions and incorporate proven, innovative teaching methods into our curriculum. We are committed to embedding European values—such as tolerance, inclusivity, equal opportunity, and solidarity—into all aspects of our educational work.
Our institution plays a vital role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds. By participating in Erasmus+, we aim to enhance their social integration, independence, and prospects through exposure to new perspectives and best practices. This initiative will not only contribute to the personal development of our students but also support the ongoing professional growth of our staff, thereby strengthening our institution’s international outlook.
We are confident that participation in Erasmus+ will enable us to deliver high-quality, inclusive education and make a meaningful contribution to the European educational community.
